Cantaloupe is rich in vitamin A and C and its rich flavour and aroma are sure to please the fussiest of palettes. We think this snack might even please a bunch of hungry pirates, arrr!
- I ripe cantaloupe
- Cutting board
- Sharp carving or slicing knife
- Melon baller
Cut the melon in half and scoop out the seeds. Use the small end of the melon baller and begin making melon balls (gold nuggets). Once both halves of the melon have been balled, fill one half of the melon shell with the balls. Use small forks or toothpicks for picking up the balls.
